GROW – New look, Upload boundaries + Veris EC Scans

We’re excited to announce the launch of the new Farm Management area in Grow, now live with Admin Portal release 1.11.

Over the past 3 months, we’ve been rebuilding Farm Management from the ground up with a modernised interface, improved performance, and better functionality.

Also in this release, we’ve added support for uploading and managing Veris EC scans, a key enhancement for our Agrii UK teams.

Here’s how it benefits you:

  • Modern interface for easier navigation and improved usability.
  • Edit farm boundaries and manage soil zones—a significant step forward from the previous version.
  • Upload and import field boundaries, with the ability to assign to existing fields or create as new fields.
  • Move away from legacy code, reducing bugs and unlocking future improvements.
  • Upload and manage Veris EC scan maps – now viewable as a new image layer in Farm Management for easily creating soil management zones.
What’s new? 

Uploading boundaries
We’ve added the final piece of functionality: uploading and importing boundaries.

Here’s how it works:
1. Go to the ‘Actions’ menu and select ‘Upload boundaries’.
2. Upload your boundary file.
3. On the ‘Review boundaries’ page, select which ones to import.

  • Boundaries shown in red can’t be imported (this will generally be due to invalid geometry, overlaps, or minimum size issues).
4. Choose whether to:

  • Automatically create a new field for each boundary.
  • Assign each to an existing empty field.
5. Click ‘Import selected’ to finalise.

Your boundaries will be added, and you’ll be returned to the main Farm Management page.

Transition Period
The old Farm Homepage will remain available for approximately two weeks before being fully retired. We encourage all users to transition to the new system as soon as possible.

Uploading and managing Veris EC scans.

1. On the Accounts list page, choose ‘Manage EC Scans’ from the Options menu.
2. Upload your Veris EC scan zip files.
3. Navigate to the new Farm Management area and select a scan layer to view it as an overlay on the field map.
4. Select ‘Edit field’ to use the Farm Management drawing tools to create soil management zones.
