New forgot password process

Today’s update to Contour makes it much easier for users to reset their own password. This will ensure users can access Contour whenever required.

Here’s how:

  • Forgotten password link: Available on the log in page for Contour, Contour Mobile and GROW for our Admin users.
  • Self Service: When prompted, enter your email address and you will receive an email containing a link to reset your password.
  • Secure: Your email address must be registered to your account. You can set your own password, but it must comply with our security rules.
  • Immediate access: Once reset, you can log in immediately. Remember, it’s the same password for Contour and Contour Mobile.
  • Update your email: Next time you’re logged into Contour we recommend checking we have the correct email for you.
Step-by-step User Guide:

1. From the Contour log in page click on ‘Forgot your password’.

2. Enter your email address and click send email.
3. If your email address matches to a single account on Contour you will receive an email with a link to reset the password.
Important: If you do not receive an email then we recommend emailing servicedesk@digital.originenterprises.com. It could be we need to update your account with the correct email address.
4. You will receive an email inviting you to change your password. Follow the link in the email.
5. Enter and confirm your new password, which will need to follow certain security guidelines. Tips on screen will help.
6. Success. Go back to Contour or the Mobile App log in screen and use your new details. You will also get an email confirming your password has been changed.
7. Next time you’re logged into Contour you can check the email we have set up for your account by going to Settings.
8. Then update your email address if required.
